- Excellent computer skills, including MS Word, Excel, internet research, data transfer, and preparing well formatted reports

Nature and Scope of Position / Responsibilities
- We are hiring a Land Surveyor for a short term project in Qatar.
- The selected candidate will conduct and supervise land and property surveys, prepare maps, reports, and legal documentation, coordinate with engineering and architectural teams, and ensure all survey results are accurate and compliant with project requirements.
Responsibilities
- Conduct and supervise land, boundary, and topographic surveys using modern survey instruments (GPS, total station, levels, etc.).
- Verify accuracy of field measurements, calculations, and survey data.
- Establish property boundaries based on legal deeds, titles, and survey records.
- Record and analyze land features including shape, elevation, contours, and coordinates.
- Prepare survey maps, sketches, reports, and legal descriptions for documentation.
- Calculate distances, elevations, coordinates, and terrain characteristics.
- Maintain and adjust surveying equipment to ensure accuracy.
- Coordinate survey data with engineering, architectural, and project teams.
- Research legal and historical land records to support boundary identification.
- Establish control points and perform geodetic and GPS based measurements.
- Supervise survey assistants and ensure proper execution of fieldwork.
- Support aerial and photogrammetric survey activities when required.
Experience and Education
- Diploma in Surveying from a reputable university or institute (minimum 2 year diploma).
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Surveyor in a reputable construction firm.
- Strong fluency in reading, writing, and speaking English.
- Excellent computer skills, including MS Word, Excel, internet research, data transfer, and preparing well formatted reports.
