Responsibilities
- Conduct topographic, boundary, and construction surveys
- Perform precise setting out for buildings, infrastructure, and utilities
- Establish and maintain benchmarks, control points, and survey reference systems
- Prepare strata layouts including unit boundaries, common areas, and access zones
- Develop subdivision layouts (plots, roads, utilities, and access corridors)
- Execute on site demarcation of land boundaries and plots
- Conduct as built surveys and prepare supporting documentation
- Operate and maintain Total Station, GPS/GNSS equipment, and Auto/Digital Levels
- Collaborate with Project Engineers, site teams, and contractors
- Adhere to all HSE policies and site safety procedures
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Surveying, Geomatics, Civil Engineering, or related field
- 3–7 years of relevant experience in construction or engineering consultancy
- Proficiency in AutoCAD
- Experience with survey software (Leica, Trimble, or equivalent)
- Strong knowledge of surveying principles, calculations, construction drawings, and coordinate systems
- GCC/Qatar experience preferred

Purpose of the Role
- To carry out accurate and reliable land and construction surveying activities, including setting out, verification, strata, subdivision, and demarcation works, ensuring full compliance with approved drawings, project specifications, and regulatory requirements in Qatar.
Key Responsibilities
- Surveying & Setting Out: Conduct topographic, boundary, and construction surveys; perform precise setting out; establish and maintain benchmarks.
- Strata Survey: Prepare strata layouts, calculate unit areas, produce authority ready strata drawings, validate as built conditions.
- Subdivision Survey: Develop subdivision layouts, conduct site verification, ensure compliance with planning requirements.
- Demarcation Works: Execute on site demarcation, install and verify boundary markers, support project handover.
- Verification & Quality Control: Ensure survey works meet tolerances, conduct as built surveys, identify discrepancies.
- Documentation & Deliverables: Prepare survey reports, field notes, as built drawings, strata and subdivision packages.
- Equipment & Systems: Operate and maintain Total Station, GPS/GNSS, Auto/Digital Levels; ensure calibration and safe handling.
- Coordination: Collaborate with Project Engineers, site teams, and contractors.
- Health & Safety: Adhere to all HSE policies and site safety procedures.
Qualifications & Experience
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Surveying, Geomatics, Civil Engineering, or related field
- Experience: 3–7 years of relevant experience in construction or engineering consultancy; GCC/Qatar experience preferred
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in AutoCAD; experience with survey software (Leica, Trimble, or equivalent); strong knowledge of surveying principles, calculations, construction drawings, coordinate systems and datums
