About the Role
The Camel Forensic Laboratory is seeking a detail-oriented Laboratory Analyst for its Anabolic Steroids Screening Section.
The analyst will support laboratory analytical workflows, timely sample processing, and reliable analytical results.
Work Location
- The position is located in Dubai, UAE.
- Work is performed in person.
Laboratory Responsibilities
- Perform sample preparation and extraction, including Solid-Phase Extraction, derivatisation, and other preparation procedures.
- Conduct analytical testing and instrument data acquisition using GC-MS and LC-MS techniques.
- Perform routine GC-MS/MS screening for anabolic steroids and dilute-and-shoot LC-MS assays for highly volatile analytes.
- Review and analyze analytical data, perform repeat testing and confirmatory analysis, and meet laboratory turnaround times.
- Collaborate with laboratory professionals and follow established procedures, quality standards, and documentation requirements.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Biochemistry, Forensic Science, or a related scientific discipline.
