About the Role
Ceenex Global LLC is seeking an L2 Systems Support Engineer to maintain and support physical and virtual systems infrastructure within a Microsoft Data Center. Responsibilities
- Provision, configure, and troubleshoot Windows Server, Hyper V, and Linux environments
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and perform basic zoning/allocation on SAN/NAS storage arrays and Azure integrated hybrid storage
- Diagnose and resolve medium to complex server hardware, OS, and virtualization layer failures
- Monitor system health using System Center (SCOM) or Azure Monitor; identify and resolve performance bottlenecks
- Manage, verify, and troubleshoot system backups and replication jobs; initiate recovery procedures when required
- Install, mount, and secure physical blade servers, storage shelves, and enclosure chassis
- Perform component level replacements (RAM, hard drives, PSUs, cooling fans)
- Route copper and fiber optic patch cords; perform fiber cleaning and scoping
Requirements
- 3–5 years of experience in system administration, with at least 1–2 years in an active data center environment
- Experience with Windows Server, Hyper V, and Linux environments
- Knowledge of SAN/NAS storage arrays and Azure integrated hybrid storage
- Experience with backup and disaster recovery procedures
- Ability to perform physical diagnostics and component level replacements
- Must comply with UAE specific security clearances and data sovereignty regulations

Role Overview
- The L2 Systems Support Engineer is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and supporting the physical and virtual systems infrastructure within the Microsoft Data Center.
Key Responsibilities
- L2 Systems & Infrastructure Support: OS & Hypervisor Administration: Provision, configure, and troubleshoot Windows Server, Hyper V, and Linux environments.
- Storage & Virtualization Management: Monitor, troubleshoot, and perform basic zoning/allocation on SAN/NAS storage arrays and Azure integrated hybrid storage.
- Incident & Problem Management: Diagnose and resolve medium to complex server hardware, operating system, and virtualization layer failures.
- Data Center Automation & Monitoring: Monitor system health using System Center (SCOM) or Azure Monitor; identify and resolve performance bottlenecks.
- Backup & Disaster Recovery: Manage, verify, and troubleshoot system backups and replication jobs, initiating recovery procedures when required.
- Hands on & Essential Support: Racking & Stacking: Install, mount, and secure physical blade servers, storage shelves, and enclosure chassis.
- Physical Diagnostics: Perform component level replacements (swapping failed RAM, hot swappable hard drives, PSUs, and cooling fans).
- Physical Cabling & Labeling: Route copper (Cat6) and fiber optic patch cords; perform fiber cleaning and scoping.
- Media Handling & Disposal: Follow strict Microsoft data bearing media handling, declassification, and shredding procedures.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Experience: 3–5 years of experience in system administration, with at least 1–2 years in an active data center environment.
- Technical Certifications (Preferred): Microsoft Certified: Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate, Azure Administrator Associate (AZ 104), CompTIA Server+, or VMware VCP.
- Local Compliance: Must comply with UAE specific security clearances and data sovereignty regulations governing Microsoft Data Center operations.
Pay
- AED 16,000 AED 18,000 per month
