Role Overview

Provide L2 IT support as part of an engineering team and resolve assigned tickets by visiting client sites.

Deliver onsite end-user support and maintain client IT infrastructure in Abu Dhabi.

Support Responsibilities

  • Install and configure Autodesk, AutoCAD, architecture applications, Microsoft Office, printers, email accounts, and Outlook.
  • Troubleshoot Windows, iOS, macOS, email, LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi, firewalls, VPNs, and video conferencing systems.
  • Manage Microsoft 365, SharePoint, OneDrive, Azure, Intune, Active Directory, GPO, DHCP, and DNS.
  • Support server migration, clustering, RAID, Hyper-V, virtualization, backup, NAS, storage, and data migration.
  • Configure and troubleshoot CCTV, NVR, and DVR systems.
  • Perform preventive maintenance and maintain asset, inventory, and IT infrastructure documentation.
  • Identify and suggest improvements to support procedures.

Work Experience and Capabilities

  • The role requires 7+ years of work experience.
  • Excellent knowledge of Windows 10 and 11 and Windows Server 2012, 2016, 2019, and 2022 is required.
  • The role requires broad troubleshooting knowledge across end-user systems, servers, networks, cloud platforms, storage, backup, security, and virtualization.
  • A proactive approach, strong user-support attitude, and strong communication skills are required.

Salary

  • Salary is 7,500-8,500 AED per month.

Location

  • The role is based in Abu Dhabi and requires visiting client sites for onsite support.
