Key Responsibilities
- Carry out full KYC verification for every new client inquiry according to the SOP.
- Review client e-questionnaire responses and supporting documents for completeness and accuracy.
- Verify company details, ownership structures, and ultimate beneficial owners.
- Run sanctions, PEP, and adverse media screening checks.
- Flag incomplete, unclear, or high-risk files and escalate them for internal review.
- Update shared client folders and the Opportunities/Partnership tracker with verification status.
- Complete verification within SOP timelines so proposal drafting and pricing are not delayed.
- Coordinate with the pricing and proposal team to confirm KYC sign-off before submission.
- Maintain organized, audit-ready records for every client file.
- Suggest SOP improvements where recurring issues or gaps are identified.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Law, or a related field.
- 2–4 years of experience in KYC, AML, or compliance work, ideally within tax, accounting, or financial services.
- Good understanding of UAE AML regulations and UBO disclosure requirements.
- Ability to follow a strict, step-by-step process without skipping steps.
- Strong attention to detail.
- CAMS certification.
- Good written and spoken English; Arabic is a plus.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with screening tools such as World-Check.
- Experience working with shared trackers such as Excel, SharePoint, or similar tools.
- Background in tax advisory or professional services onboarding.
