Maintain and service kitchen and laundry equipment to support culinary and housekeeping operations.
Help ensure reliable equipment performance, efficient service delivery, and positive guest experiences.
Responsibilities
- Inspect, maintain, and repair ovens, stoves, grills, refrigerators, freezers, dishwashers, and exhaust systems.
- Service washers, dryers, steamers, and ironers.
- Perform scheduled preventive maintenance to minimize equipment downtime.
- Respond to urgent repair requests from kitchen and housekeeping departments.
- Diagnose electrical and mechanical faults and complete repairs or recommend replacements.
- Coordinate vendors for complex repairs and parts procurement.
- Comply with health, safety, and fire regulations for electrical and gas-powered appliances.
- Document maintenance activities and equipment service history.
- Assist with new equipment installation and maintain the workshop and tool inventory.
Requirements
- Ability to inspect, maintain, and repair kitchen equipment including ovens, stoves, grills, refrigerators, freezers, dishwashers, and exhaust systems.
- Ability to service washers, dryers, steamers, and ironers.
- Ability to perform preventive maintenance according to established schedules.
- Ability to diagnose faults in electrical and mechanical systems and execute necessary repairs or recommend replacements.
- Knowledge of health, safety, and fire regulations for electrical and gas-powered appliances.
- Ability to maintain accurate maintenance documentation and equipment service history.
- Ability to coordinate with specialized vendors for complex repairs and parts procurement.
- Ability to maintain a clean, organized, and safe workshop and tool inventory.
