Role Overview

Work Environment

• The role is based in hotel food and beverage outlets, including service areas and back-of-house storage spaces.

Outlet and Team Supervision

• Operate within Forbes 5-star standards and hold the team accountable to daily service expectations.
• Assist with outlet service standards and train staff on service, safety, and product knowledge.
• Coordinate service staff during all meal periods and monitor outlet setup, maintenance, and side work.
• Perform administrative functions and communicate operational information to the department manager.

Guest Service and Safety

• Maintain knowledge of food and beverage menus and correctly identify guests ordering alcohol.
• Conduct safety awareness topics and follow all safety procedures.
• Support organization of back-of-house storage, office, liquor room, and beer cooler areas.
• Promote luxury service, inclusion, reliability, initiative, attention to detail, creativity, and passion for food.

Qualifications and Experience

• At least two years of experience in a bar or high-volume restaurant in a similar environment is required.
• Strong Micros knowledge and experience is required.
• Fluent English, excellent telephone etiquette, and exceptional guest recovery skills are required.
• The candidate must prioritize workload, stay organized, adapt quickly, write reports, and present information effectively.
• Knowledge of menus, alcohol guest identification, safety procedures, and safety awareness topics is required.
