Role Overview
Maintain and service audio-visual equipment supporting hotel events, presentations, entertainment programs, and live performances.
Provide technical support and ensure reliable sound, video, lighting, and conferencing performance.
Responsibilities
- Clean, inspect, install, configure, and test AV equipment before events and presentations.
- Operate sound, video, lighting, and conferencing systems during live events.
- Perform maintenance, troubleshoot faults, and repair or arrange repairs for defective equipment.
- Support event organizers, presenters, performers, and users of AV equipment.
- Coordinate with event coordinators, IT teams, and other stakeholders to meet event requirements.
- Manage AV equipment inventory and document repairs, maintenance schedules, configurations, and procedures.
- Support bands and performers during sound checks, stage setup, and rider coordination.
Requirements
- At least 2–3 years of proven experience in a similar AV Technician role, preferably in luxury hospitality, events, entertainment, or live production.
- Strong knowledge of professional audio, video, lighting, and conferencing systems.
- Hands-on experience with PA systems, mixers, amplifiers, projectors, LED screens, microphones, lighting consoles, and video displays.
