Purpose of the job
- Developing and expanding relationships with the regional customers. Facilitate management of customers and follow up internally and externally on execution within specified national or regional accounts.
Key Accountabilities
- To be the main reference for specified accounts
- Ensure customer data & historical data is complete in terms of plan, feature, flyer & instore, budget, offers, discounts, off take, spend, inventory etc.
- Share the right inputs for the customers ensuring that the promo allocation is managed within the budget allocated & on each account's historical data.
- Develop detailed monthly plans
- Translate the sales plans and activities for each of the customer channels into sales forecasts so as to assist in the alignment of demand forecast, supply forecast and production planning.
- Closely monitor the field execution of the agreed channel plans with regard to visibility, price and promotions. Identify opportunities so as to maximize visibility and sales.
- Monitor the implementation of SADAFCO's Merchandising Standards through market visits and system monitoring. Create action plans to ensure that shortfalls are removed.
- Responsible to resolve SADAFCO specific issues at the stores level or with the responsible person based at the customer's head office.
- Prepare presentations to improve negotiation power with customers
- Support and coordinate the process of negotiating and closing/renewing contractual agreements
- Co ordinate with internal finance team to process all the customer claims submitted with supporting documents before the end of the month for the previous month activities including reconciliation statement for sign off
- Ensure that rebate, compensation and incentive budgets are controlled and tracked as per the agreed plans
Job Requirements
- Educational Level: Minimum Bachelor degree in Economics or Finance. A Master's degree will be desirable
- Additional professional Certification: Business Analytics certification will be an advantage
- Experience: Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in Sales or Merchandising
- Computer skills/ literacy: Microsoft Office in particular minimum intermediate level in Excel
- Languages: Proficient in English & Arabic
