Overview
- NYU Abu Dhabi seeks a Junior Research Scientist to join the Social Science Experimental Laboratory (SSEL), an interdisciplinary center conducting experimental research in social sciences.
- The lab has a large participant pool from NYUAD community, local universities, and the general public, using laboratory experimentation to test human behavior and human machine interactions.
- The ideal candidate is deeply committed to research, values interdisciplinary work, and can work smoothly in a fast paced, collaborative environment.
Responsibilities

Required Education

- Degree related to Social Science or Computer Science, or a related field.
Preferred Experience
- Previous experience with study participant recruitment and/or outreach activities.
- Previous experience in student development.
- Previous experience with internal communications.
- Demonstrated ability to engage with large language models (AI) in prompting, tokenization, and model evaluation tasks.
