Responsibilities
- Assist in developing and updating project schedules using Primavera P6, ensuring alignment with project scope, contract requirements, and baseline plans
- Collect daily and weekly progress data from site teams and update activity status, quantities, and productivity rates
- Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports, dashboards, S curves, and look ahead schedules for internal and client review
- Work closely with site engineers, procurement, and subcontractors to gather accurate information and highlight schedule risks
- Assist in preparing baseline schedules, resource histograms, and cash flow projections
- Support senior planners in identifying delays, preparing narratives, and maintaining delay logs
- Maintain planning files, logs, and schedule versions in accordance with project and ISO standards
- Ensure planning activities consider safety, quality, and compliance requirements
Requirements
- Bachelor's in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
- 1 3 years experience in planning or site engineering within the UAE construction market
- Knowledge of Primavera P6
- MS Office Skills
- Good Communication Skills
- Familiarity with UAE contract standards (FIDIC, government authorities, consultant requirements)
- Experience preparing progress reports, look ahead schedules, or resource histograms

Role Overview
- The Junior Planning Engineer supports the project planning function by assisting in schedule development, progress monitoring, reporting, and coordination with site teams.

Required Experience & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
- Experience in Primavera P6 Knowledge, MS Office Skills, Construction Knowledge
- Good Communication Skills and ability to interpret data, identify trends, and support decision‑making.
- 1–3 years experience in planning or site engineering within the UAE construction market.
- Familiarity with UAE contract standards (FIDIC, government authorities, consultant requirements).
- Experience preparing progress reports, look‑ahead schedules, or resource histograms.
