Responsibilities
- Develop and execute risk‑based internal audit plans covering financial, operational, and compliance areas across property development projects
- Assess the effectiveness of internal controls, workflows, and governance frameworks within project management, procurement, sales, collections, and handover functions
- Ensure adherence to UAE laws, RERA guidelines, IFRS standards, and internal policies
- Identify control gaps, operational risks, and inefficiencies; recommend corrective actions
- Prepare clear, concise audit reports and present findings to senior management
- Monitor implementation of agreed‑upon corrective actions and improvements
- Support fraud risk assessments and investigate irregularities when required
- Work closely with Finance, Projects, Procurement, Sales, and Legal teams to strengthen internal controls
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field
- Professional Certifications such as CIA, CPA, ACCA, or CMA preferred
- 3–6 years of internal audit experience, ideally within UAE real estate, construction, or property development
- Strong knowledge of IFRS, risk management frameworks, and UAE regulatory requirements
- Proficiency in audit tools, ERP systems, and data analytics
- Excellent communication, analytical thinking, and report writing skills

Key Responsibilities
