Responsibilities
- Perform geotechnical design for foundations, retaining structures, and slope stability, using both hand calculations and geotechnical software under supervision of Senior Engineers
- Perform analysis of geotechnical data and interpretation of soil and rock parameters
- Participate in supervision of field and laboratory works to ensure compliance with project requirements and quality standards
- Participate in site visits during the construction phase to monitor groundworks, assess geotechnical conditions, and ensure compliance with design intent and specifications
- Ensure geotechnical designs comply with applicable standards in the Middle East (e.g., Eurocode, AASHTO, BS, ASTM) and project specifications
- Ensure geotechnical designs prioritize safety and comply with HSE standards
- Develop R&D initiatives and contribute to continuous improvement of design practices
Requirements
- Graduate in Civil Engineering (preferable Master’s degree in Geotechnical Engineering)
- Knowledge of international codes and local regulations
- Knowledge of AutoCAD and Geotechnical software

Job Description
- We are seeking a motivated and dedicated Emirati Junior Geotechnical Engineer to join one of our client for their flagship projects in Dubai.
- This role provides an excellent opportunity for a young engineering professional to gain hands on experience in geotechnical design, soil and rock analysis, field investigations, and site coordination within a leading multinational organization.
- The Junior Geotechnical Engineer will play an important role in ensuring safe, high quality, and code compliant foundation and ground engineering solutions across complex developments.
Key responsibilities
- Perform geotechnical design for foundations, retaining structures, and slope stability, using both hand calculations and geotechnical software under supervision of Senior Engineers.
