The employer is hiring a junior full stack engineer with a back-end-heavy focus on Node.js.
The role is intended for an early-career candidate who will strengthen backend skills while contributing to full stack delivery.
Location
- The role is onsite in Abu Dhabi, UAE.
- Candidates must be available within the UAE.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain backend services using Node.js.
- Build REST APIs and business logic and assist with database interactions.
- Support front-end integration and collaborate with backend, QA, product, and frontend teams.
- Write maintainable code and participate in code reviews, debugging, and testing.
- Support feature delivery and issue resolution across the application lifecycle.
Required Skills and Experience
- The role requires 0–2 years of software development experience.
- Basic to hands-on Node.js experience is required.
- Understanding of backend development concepts and REST APIs is required.
- Familiarity with database fundamentals is required.
- Basic JavaScript, HTML, and CSS knowledge is required.
- Strong willingness to learn, solve problems, debug, communicate, and collaborate is expected.
Preferred Skills
- Dockerization exposure, CI/CD awareness, and infrastructure awareness are preferred.
- Cybersecurity awareness or secure coding basics is preferred.
- Internship, freelance, or academic project experience in Node.js or backend development is preferred.
