The Design 360 Studio integrates Architecture, Structures, MEP, Landscape, Interiors, and Supervision disciplines.
Role Overview
The Junior FLS Designer supports Fire and Life Safety system design for residential, hospitality, and mixed-use projects.
The role reports to the Senior FLS Designer and works with senior designers and multidisciplinary teams from the Design 360 Studio office in Dubai.
Responsibilities
- Assist with Fire and Life Safety design solutions.
- Prepare and update FLS drawings, layouts, details, and documentation.
- Support fire protection, fire alarm, life safety, and related system development.
- Prepare design calculations, schedules, reports, and technical documentation.
- Coordinate FLS requirements with Architecture, Structural, MEP, Interior, and other disciplines.
- Review designs against project requirements, codes, and authority regulations.
- Coordinate design comments and revisions with teams and consultants.
- Support design reviews, coordination meetings, and technical discussions.
- Maintain project documentation and drawing records.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture.
- At least 2 years of Fire and Life Safety or Fire Protection design experience.
- Basic understanding of fire protection, fire alarm, life safety, smoke control, and means of escape systems.
- Familiarity with UAE Fire and Life Safety Code, NFPA standards, and local authority requirements is preferred.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD; Revit/BIM knowledge is preferred.
- Ability to interpret architectural, structural, and MEP drawings.
- Good coordination and communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
- UAE high-rise, residential, hospitality, or mixed-use project experience is advantageous.

- The role is based at the Design 360 Studio office in Al Hudaiba Awards, Dubai.
