Junior Finance Analyst

Role overview

Responsibilities

• Gather, organize, verify, and analyze financial and operational information for business evaluations and decision-making.
• Prepare analytical reports, presentation materials, proposals, and documents for client meetings and consulting assignments.
• Maintain professional communication with clients, respond to requests, and follow up on assigned activities and deliverables.
• Work closely with senior consultants by providing accurate analysis, research, and supporting information.
• Review budgets, financial statements, management reports, and other financial data to identify relevant trends.
• Assist in coordinating project activities and keep documentation, calculations, and supporting data accurate and organized.
• Conduct market, industry, and competitor research for valuation models, recommendations, and client presentations.
• Support financial model preparation and review by checking assumptions, calculations, and supporting information.

Job experience requirements

• Good understanding of business valuation techniques, financial analysis principles, and basic corporate finance concepts.
• Ability to review and interpret budgets, financial statements, annual reports, and other business information.
• Strong analytical and numerical skills with the ability to organize complex information and communicate findings clearly.
• Banking, financial services, corporate operations, or consulting exposure is advantageous.
• Microsoft Excel and presentation tool proficiency is beneficial.
• Ability to manage multiple assignments, prioritize responsibilities, and deliver accurate work within deadlines.
• Strong attention to detail and a professional, structured approach to client information and project documentation.

Education

• University degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Engineering, Accounting, or a related discipline.
