About the Role

Responsibilities
- Submit all invoices with proper documentation via email to customers at the beginning of each month
- Negotiate payment plans with customers and set payment terms and conditions accordingly
- Maintain debt records, conduct regular analysis of the credit control system and implement changes to reduce bad debts
- Analyze and monitor all assigned aged debtors to reduce outstanding debt and ensure prompt action for non payment
- Oversee and initiate collection calls with concerned parties to resolve outstanding debts/billing issues
- Perform customer accounts reconciliation on a monthly basis and share outstanding balance with customers
- Record all debtors' communications, payment plans, disputes on OnGuard and update dashboards and tracker sheets daily
- Follow up on overdue invoices and payments and implement company collections procedures
- Report outstanding debt accounts and payment issues to management on a weekly basis
- Review credit notes or additional billings and negotiate payment plans with debtors
- Manage the service suspension process for debt recovery and actively chase aged debt
- Prepare proposals for delinquency accounts where legal action may be required
Requirements
- BA degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or any relevant field
- Experience of minimum 4 years in a similar role
- Proficiency in English and Arabic with excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Knowledgeable in reporting and monitoring with remarkable attention to details
- Effective decision making and problem solving skills
- Strong ability to listen to customers and negotiate solutions

Job Responsibilities

- Analyzing and monitoring all assigned aged debtors to reduce outstanding debt and ensuring prompt action for non payment or continued late payment
- Overseeing and initiating collection calls with concerned parties and account holders to resolve outstanding debts/billing issues
- Performing customer accounts reconciliation on a monthly basis and sharing outstanding balance with customers where required
- Recording all debtors' communications, payment plans, disputes on OnGuard and ensuring dashboards and tracker sheets are updated on daily basis
- Following up on overdue invoices and payments and implementing company collections procedures as necessary
- Reporting outstanding debt accounts and payment issues to management on a weekly basis
- Reviewing credit notes or additional billings and negotiating payment plans with debtors where required
- Managing the service suspension process for the recovery of debt, actively chasing aged debt and taking the lead in reviewing debtor key accounts
- Preparing proposals for delinquency accounts where legal action may be required, and reporting account disputes for Finance management to advise on appropriate actions
Requirements
- BA degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or any relevant field
- Experience of minimum 4 years in a similar role
- Proficiency in English and Arabic with excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Knowledgeable in reporting and monitoring with remarkable attention to details
- Effective decision making and problem solving skills
