Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Joinery Draftsman to prepare accurate technical drawings, shop drawings, and production details for custom joinery and interior fit-out projects.
The candidate will work closely with designers, project managers, site teams, and production staff to ensure drawings are practical, accurate, and suitable for manufacturing and installation.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed joinery shop drawings for furniture, doors, wall paneling, wardrobes, kitchens, reception counters, vanities, and other bespoke joinery items.
- Develop plans, elevations, sections, details, and assembly drawings based on design concepts and specifications.
- Produce accurate drawings with dimensions, material specifications, finishes, hardware, and construction details.
- Review architectural and interior design drawings and identify discrepancies or missing information.
- Coordinate drawings with site conditions, MEP requirements, architectural details, and other trades.
- Prepare drawings for production and installation while ensuring constructability.
- Revise drawings according to consultant, client, designer, or project manager comments.
- Prepare cutting lists, material details, and other information required by the production team when required.
- Coordinate with workshop and site teams to resolve technical issues and ensure drawings are followed correctly.
- Conduct site measurements and prepare as-built drawings when required.
- Maintain proper drawing registers, revisions, and document control.
