Role Overview
Lead enterprise application architecture and modernization initiatives using Java, Spring Boot, microservices, and cloud-native practices.
Work with engineering, leadership, enterprise architecture, and business stakeholders to deliver scalable, secure, and maintainable systems.
Experience and Mandatory Skills
- 8–10 years of experience.
- Mandatory skills include Java 8+, backend unit testing with JUnit, data structures, microservices, REST APIs, object-oriented programming, JPA, Kafka, GitHub, MongoDB, Oracle, Spring Boot, and Spring Security with JWT.
- Mandatory competencies include Java multithreading, messaging technologies, MongoDB, design principles, Spring Boot, Oracle database design, source-control platforms, and JPA.
Key Responsibilities
- Define enterprise application architecture strategy using Core Java, Spring Boot, and microservices.
- Lead modernization, framework selection, cloud-native adoption, distributed systems, and API-driven architecture.
- Establish engineering standards, governance, reusable frameworks, and secure development guidelines.
- Lead engineering teams and cross-functional collaboration.
- Implement scalability, observability, security, and disaster recovery requirements.
- Lead architecture reviews, technical discussions, and modernization initiatives.
