Role overview

The role is a Java Lead based in Gurugram.

The position requires 8–10 years of experience and focuses on enterprise architecture, modernization, cloud adoption, and distributed systems.

Mandatory skills

  • Core Java 8+, backend unit testing with JUnit, data structures, microservices, and REST APIs.
  • Multithreading and concurrency, OOPS concepts, JPA, Kafka, GitHub, MS SQL, and Spring Boot with Spring Security and JWT.
  • Messaging technologies may include JMS, ActiveMQ, RabbitMQ, Kafka, SQS, or ASB.
  • Source competency lists include GitLab, GitHub, and Bitbucket.

Key responsibilities

  • Define and drive enterprise application architecture using Core Java, Spring Boot, and microservices.
  • Lead modernization, framework selection, cloud-native adoption, and distributed-systems architecture.
  • Establish engineering standards, governance practices, reusable frameworks, and secure development guidelines.
  • Lead engineering teams and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Drive scalability, observability, security, disaster recovery, and long-term maintainability.
  • Lead architecture reviews, technical discussions, messaging architecture, and modernization initiatives.
  • Drive DevOps, CI/CD automation, cloud-native engineering, and containerization practices.
  • Identify technical risks and architectural gaps and define mitigation strategies.
