Experience and mandatory skills
- The role requires 8-10 years of experience.
- Mandatory skills include Java 8+, backend unit testing with JUnit, data structures, microservices, REST APIs, multithreading and concurrency, OOPS concepts, JPA, Kafka, GitHub, MS SQL, and Spring Boot with Spring Security and JWT.
- Mandatory competencies also include messaging, JPA, OOPS concepts, Java multithreading, unit testing, MS SQL, Spring Boot, and GitLab, GitHub, or Bitbucket.
Key responsibilities
- Define and drive enterprise application architecture strategy using core Java, Spring Boot, and microservices.
- Lead technical decisions for application modernization, framework selection, and cloud-native adoption.
- Architect distributed systems, microservices platforms, and API-driven ecosystems.
- Establish engineering standards, governance practices, reusable frameworks, and secure development guidelines.
- Lead engineering teams and cross-functional collaboration.
- Drive scalability, observability, security, and disaster recovery requirements.
- Lead architecture reviews, technical discussions, and modernization initiatives.
- Design enterprise messaging and event-driven architectures.
- Align engineering initiatives with leadership teams and enterprise architects.
- Drive DevOps, CI/CD automation, cloud-native engineering, and containerization.
- Identify technical risks and architectural gaps and define mitigation strategies.
