Job Purpose
- Maximize sales volume, minimize stales, achieve distribution targets, implement merchandising standards, collect accounts receivable, and maintain high customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Sell the full range of products to an agreed list of customers; sales measured against targets.
- Provide service approved by supervisor; follow call frequencies and daily route plan.
- Carry out daily and weekly vehicle checks; maintain vehicle in clean and roadworthy condition.
- Supply ready to ship customer orders on time.
- Maintain individual customer stock levels to agreed requirements to minimize out of stock.
- Implement agreed in store merchandising standards.
- Advise supervisor of competitor activity.
- Daily reconciliation of cheques, cash, and credit sales.
- Maintain high standard of driving and obey driving regulations.
Qualifications
- Diploma or bachelor's degree or equivalent.
- 1 to 3 years of experience in sales and account building.
- Communication skills, negotiation skills, conflict management, sales planning, basic accounting skills.
