Job Purpose

  • Maximize sales volume, minimize stales, achieve distribution targets, implement merchandising standards, collect accounts receivable, and maintain high customer service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Sell the full range of products to an agreed list of customers; sales measured against targets.
  • Provide service approved by supervisor; follow call frequencies and daily route plan.
  • Carry out daily and weekly vehicle checks; maintain vehicle in clean and roadworthy condition.
  • Supply ready to ship customer orders on time.
  • Maintain individual customer stock levels to agreed requirements to minimize out of stock.
  • Implement agreed in store merchandising standards.
  • Advise supervisor of competitor activity.
  • Daily reconciliation of cheques, cash, and credit sales.
  • Maintain high standard of driving and obey driving regulations.

Qualifications

  • Diploma or bachelor's degree or equivalent.
  • 1 to 3 years of experience in sales and account building.
  • Communication skills, negotiation skills, conflict management, sales planning, basic accounting skills.
