Job Overview
- PepsiCo is hiring a Chemist/Microbiologist for their Riyadh plant.
- The role ensures all manufactured products meet PepsiCo and regulatory standards for quality and food safety.
Principal Accountabilities
- Conduct daily analysis on finished products, incoming raw and packaging materials.
- Ensure GMP is followed by plant personnel.
- Participate in monthly food safety audits and support implementation of FS standards.
- Attend sensory evaluation tests (Quality wall) during shift.
- Monitor production operator's product analysis and evaluation.
- Communicate results of acceptance and rejections to concerned functions.
- Take immediate action for non compliance by initiating Hold/Release and CAPA.
- Carry out monthly and quarterly in market evaluation of finished products.
- Participate in internal and external proficiency tests.
- Participate in complaint investigation and follow up corrective actions.
- Maintain laboratory area and equipment in good working condition.
- Support developmental activities and projects relevant to the function.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Food Science, or related field.
- Excellent command of written and spoken English.
- Good computer skills with MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- New graduates can apply; experience in food manufacturing with knowledge of lab instruments and Quality systems such as ISO preferred.
