Responsibilities
- Prepare traditional Italian pizza dough and allow proper fermentation
- Prepare fresh pizza sauces using authentic Italian recipes
- Stretch and shape pizza dough by hand
- Assemble pizzas with classic Italian ingredients such as mozzarella, basil, olive oil, and fresh vegetables
- Bake pizzas in a wood fired, stone, or deck oven to achieve authentic texture and flavor
- Maintain consistency, taste, and presentation of all pizzas
- Ensure kitchen hygiene and food safety standards are followed
- Manage pizza station, ingredients, and stock levels
- Collaborate with the kitchen team during busy service hours
- Create or suggest new Italian pizza varieties and specials
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of authentic Italian pizza preparation
- Experience with Neapolitan or Roman style pizza techniques
- Ability to operate wood fired pizza ovens
- Good time management and ability to work under pressure
- Attention to detail and passion for Italian cuisine
- Pizza chef: 1 year (Preferred)

Job Summary
