Overview

We are seeking a reliable and technically skilled IT Support Technician to join our team.

The successful candidate will provide day-to-day IT support in a Windows environment, including troubleshooting issues with networking, computers, printers, and CCTV systems.

The role also involves assisting with IT purchasing and asset management.

A valid driving license is required, and having your own vehicle will be considered an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide first-line and second-line support for hardware, software, and network-related issues.
  • Install, configure, and maintain Windows operating systems, applications, and user accounts.
  • Set up, maintain, and troubleshoot computers, printers, and related peripherals.
  • Support and maintain network infrastructure, including routers, switches, Wi-Fi, and cabling.
  • Monitor and maintain CCTV systems to ensure functionality and reliability.
  • Assist in managing IT assets and keeping accurate inventory records.
  • Support IT purchasing — sourcing quotations, evaluating suppliers, and tracking IT orders.
  • Ensure system backups and implement security best practices.
  • Maintain documentation of IT configurations and support procedures.
  • Provide on-site and remote technical assistance as required.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in IT Support, ideally in a Windows-based environment.
  • Solid understanding of Windows 10/11, Windows Server, Microsoft 365, and Active Directory.
  • Good knowledge of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, firewalls, etc.).
  • Experience with hardware setup and troubleshooting (computers, printers, CCTV).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Knowledge of IT asset management and procurement processes.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Valid driving license (required).
  • Owning a vehicle is an added advantage.

Preferred Qualifications

  • CCNA, MCTS, HND or equivalent certifications.
  • Experience using IT ticketing/helpdesk systems.
  • Awareness of cybersecurity and data protection best practices.
