- Troubleshoot problems in Fidelio, Micros, Sopho, and other hotel systems.
- Assist IT Manager in preparing and conducting user training on Fidelio, Micros, internet, and office automation software.
- Monitor usage of software and hardware resources.
- Maintain and monitor backup tapes.
- Analyze software and hardware problems to detect/correct deficiencies.
- Log and close all support calls.

- Knowledge of network and LAN hardware
- Ability to conduct user training
- Available 24 hours on call

Role Overview
- Under the general guidance of the Information Technology Manager, provide support for corporate Information Technology.
- Ensure functional integration of network and LAN hardware components.
- Assist IT Manager, Department Heads and users for effective operation of Fidelio, Micros, networking, telephones, PCs and other systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Answer e mails/fax concerning I.T. matters in the absence of IT Manager.
- Attend to tasks assigned by the IT Manager.
- Assist in preparing and conducting user training on Fidelio, Micros modules, internet & other office automation software.
- Monitor usage of available resources software and hardware.
- Troubleshoot problems in Fidelio, Micros, Sopho, and other Hotel systems.
- Revise forms to be used in Fidelio and other internal control systems.
- Support users in their daily operations.
- Modify simple reports in Fidelio.
- Modify user rights as per IT Manager's instructions.
- Research, develop, and program system applicable to end users.
- Maintain and monitor backup tapes.
- Analyze software and hardware problems to detect/correct deficiencies, malfunctions and irregularities.
Qualifications
- Experience with Fidelio, Micros, and hotel systems.
- Knowledge of network and LAN hardware.
- Ability to conduct user training.
- Available 24 hours on call.
