- Liaise with IT Helpdesk Specialist to understand end user requests

- Identify recurrent IT issues and support enhancement of IT services
- Support design, development, and implementation of new systems and technologies
- Update existing IT systems and ensure ongoing maintenance
- Support preparation of reports for cost benefit analysis related to technology enhancements
- Support implementation of standardized quality control protocol for technology troubleshooting
- Remain up to date on current technology trends
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in IT or related field
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in IT or related field
- Fluency in written and spoken English
- Fluency in written and spoken Arabic preferred

Overview

Responsibilities
- Identify and solve IT hardware and application software issues identified by Helpdesk service tickets or directly by users.
- Liaise with IT Helpdesk Specialist to understand end users’ requests and needs.
- Consult with employees, students and instructors to determine hardware, software or system issues.
- Ensure resolution of issues/tickets based on priority and urgency following instructions of IT Support Supervisor.
- Support employees, students and instructors in installation and upgrading of software, file backups, and configurations.
- Identify recurrent IT issues and support enhancement of IT services.
- Meet computer application requirements and apply required updates.
- Support design, development and implementation of new systems and technologies.
- Update existing IT systems and ensure ongoing maintenance.
- Support preparation of reports for cost benefit analysis related to technology enhancements.
- Support implementation of standardized quality control protocol for technology troubleshooting.
- Remain up to date on current technology trends.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required in IT or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in IT or related field.
- Fluency in written and spoken English required.
- Fluency in written and spoken Arabic preferred.
