Role
IT Desktop Support Technician providing backfill and secondary onsite support in Dubai.
Work Type and Location
- The role is onsite in Dubai.
- The technician must be available to work flexible schedules.
Technical Requirements
- Minimum three years of strong IT infrastructure field support experience is required.
- Experience troubleshooting hardware, software, operating system, desktop, laptop, printer, and peripheral issues is required.
- Basic enterprise LAN and WAN knowledge is required.
- Knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, and RDP is required.
- The role requires desk-side support, PC break/fix, smart hands capability, and network cabling troubleshooting.
- macOS/Linux administration is preferred.
- An Associate degree in Electronics and CompTIA A+ certification are preferred.
- OEM vendor certifications may include Dell, Toshiba, Lenovo, or HP.
- Experience with ticketing tools such as ServiceNow or Remedy is required.
Responsibilities
- Provide field, desk-side, and PC break/fix support.
- Install and repair desktops, laptops, printers, peripherals, and desktop applications.
- Perform smart hands support for peripheral and networking hardware under instruction.
