Role Overview
IT Desktop Support Technician supporting a long-term ongoing project in Jeddah, KSA.
The role provides infrastructure, desk-side, hardware, software, operating system, and peripheral support.
Compensation and Engagement
- Pay rate is $1,800 per month without benefits.
- The engagement is described as a long-term contract and independent contractor arrangement.
Location
- The work location is Bin Sulaiman Building on Prince Sultan Street in Al Khalediyah District, Jeddah, KSA.
Requirements
- 2–3 years of IT infrastructure field support experience covering hardware, software, and operating system troubleshooting.
- Ability to install and repair desktops, laptops, printers, and other peripherals.
- Basic LAN/WAN networking knowledge, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, and RDP.
- Experience with desk-side support, PC break/fix, and basic Windows administration; Mac/Linux is preferred.
- Smart-hands experience with routers, switches, racks, cabling, and other networking or hardware equipment.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, including network cabling issues.
- Experience with problem management, repeat call analysis, and preventive actions.
