About the Role
The role is for an IT Middleware and Integration Lead in the IT and Operations department.
The position focuses on enterprise integration solutions in a banking or BFSI environment and is located in Doha, Qatar.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design and implementation of enterprise integration solutions using IBM ACE.
- Manage IBM ACE, IBM MQ, and Apache Kafka middleware platforms.
- Design APIs, microservices, messaging, Pub/Sub, and HTTP-based integrations.
- Translate business requirements into scalable, secure, and maintainable technical solutions.
- Lead the integration lifecycle from requirements and design through deployment and production support.
- Manage and mentor a middleware team of more than five resources.
- Perform code reviews and ensure development, quality, and SDLC standards.
- Prepare HLD, LLD, technical documentation, and architecture artifacts.
- Work with Java, Spring, CI/CD, GitOps, cloud, containerization, and API Gateway technologies.
- Collaborate with architects, stakeholders, application teams, and vendors.
Requirements
- 12 to 15 years of experience in middleware or enterprise integration.
- Strong hands-on experience with IBM App Connect Enterprise.
- Experience with IBM MQ or Apache Kafka.
