Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain the hotel's IT infrastructure including servers, workstations, network equipment, Wi Fi, and internet connectivity
- Ensure continuous operation of hotel systems including PMS, POS, reservation systems, key card systems, accounting software, and other hospitality applications
- Monitor system performance and resolve hardware, software, and network issues promptly
- Implement and maintain cybersecurity measures including antivirus, firewalls, data backup, disaster recovery, and access controls
- Manage user accounts, email systems, and permissions for all employees
- Coordinate with software and hardware vendors for installation, maintenance, upgrades, and support
- Plan and execute IT projects including system upgrades, new technology implementations, and infrastructure improvements
- Maintain inventory of IT assets, software licenses, and equipment
- Develop and maintain IT policies, procedures, and documentation
- Provide technical support and training to hotel staff
- Monitor and manage IT budgets, maintenance contracts, and procurement of IT equipment
- Support conference and meeting technology including audiovisual equipment and presentation systems
Requirements
- Experience in managing IT infrastructure including servers, workstations, network equipment, Wi Fi, and internet connectivity
- Knowledge of hospitality systems such as PMS, POS, reservation systems, key card systems, and accounting software
- Experience with cybersecurity measures including antivirus, firewalls, data backup, disaster recovery, and access controls
- Ability to manage user accounts, email systems, and permissions
- Experience in vendor coordination and IT project management
- Knowledge of data privacy regulations and information security standards
- Experience with IT budgeting and procurement
