Role Overview
Inhabit is seeking an experienced IT Infrastructure Designer in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
The role designs, plans, and implements IT infrastructure solutions supporting airport operations.
The position requires robust, scalable infrastructure aligned with aviation industry standards.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications, Electronics, Computer Engineering, IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
- At least 10 years of experience in ICT/ELV design and coordination.
- Experience across concept design, detailed design, IFC, shop drawings, as-built, testing, commissioning, and handover.
- Experience in aviation project design and design review.
- Experience with data center design requirements and Tier classifications.
- Experience with physical security systems including CCTV, access control, intrusion detection, and security control rooms.
- Understanding of cybersecurity, network segregation, IT/OT separation, and secure ICT infrastructure design.
- Experience with airport systems, smart buildings, or complex infrastructure projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Review ICT design deliverables, technical documents, specifications, schedules, and reports.
- Coordinate telecom rooms, data rooms, cable containment, riser diagrams, equipment locations, power, cooling, and space requirements.
- Review ICT/ELV systems including networks, Wi-Fi, CCTV, access control, alarms, PA/VA, telephony, intercom, AV, and digital signage.
- Coordinate ICT requirements with architecture, MEP, structure, security, and operations teams.
- Identify design gaps, clashes, and interface issues and propose technical solutions.
- Support tender review, technical evaluation, value engineering, and design clarification.
- Review testing, commissioning, O&M, warranty, training, and asset documentation.
- Prepare technical reports, meeting inputs, and coordination notes.
Professional Skills
- Good knowledge of ICT/ELV systems, international standards, and project documentation.
- Good understanding of system integration, multidisciplinary coordination, and construction-stage requirements.
- Good communication, coordination, and reporting skills.
