Job Description
Inhabit is seeking a detail-oriented Facade Engineer to join its team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
The role delivers innovative facade engineering solutions that meet client requirements while adhering to project timelines and budgets.
Projects are high-profile and complex, involving multidisciplinary collaboration and building envelope systems focused on functionality, aesthetics, and sustainability.
Responsibilities
- Design and deliver facade and structural engineering solutions, including concept development, detailed design, analysis, specifications, and construction support.
- Manage project planning and coordinate resources for assigned projects.
- Prepare tender documentation, design specifications, and project deliverables in line with client requirements and local building codes.
- Coordinate facade engineering designs with internal teams, architects, and external stakeholders.
- Maintain positive client relationships through professional and transparent project delivery.
- Analyze curtain walls, glazing, cladding, and specialist systems for performance and cost-effectiveness.
- Support problem-solving and innovation in facade engineering practices.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 7 years of professional experience in facade engineering or a similar role, ideally in a consultancy environment.
- Experience with facade projects involving curtain walls, glazing, cladding, and specialist facade systems.
- Proficiency with REVIT, BIM, SpaceGass, or equivalent design tools.
- Strong knowledge of project management principles, budget management, timelines, and client requirements.
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
- Strong time management, organizational ability, analytical thinking, attention to detail, and quality assurance focus.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with high-rise or complex facade systems in challenging environments.
- Familiarity with Saudi Arabian and GCC building codes, standards, and regulations.
- Experience in multicultural and collaborative teams.
- Knowledge of sustainable facade design and energy-efficient building envelope systems.
- Problem-solving expertise and innovative thinking in facade engineering.
- Professional engineering licensure or relevant structural or facade engineering certification.
