About the Role
The Multifamily IT Director is the on-site resource for multifamily software implementation and maintenance.
The role includes training, vendor management during system installations, troubleshooting, and subject matter expertise across building technology software and integrated hardware.
The position reports directly to the COO.
Responsibilities
- Apply multifamily software knowledge and quickly master new software platforms.
- Support property technology upgrades, implementations, integrations, maintenance, validation, and release testing.
- Identify technology requirements, gaps, pain points, and opportunities to improve efficiency.
- Provide technical support and initial troubleshooting to on-site teams.
- Conduct in-person and web-based training for property teams and vendors and update learning programs.
- Create standard operating procedures and serve as a subject matter expert for building systems.
Ideal Background
- 5-10 years of experience in the multifamily residential property management industry.
- A bachelor's or associate's degree, or technical courses related to telecommunications, is required.
- Experience with or knowledge of Yardi, RealPage, Entrata, CRM, screening, and resident applications.
- Ability to work unsupervised and manage time and workload effectively.
- Excellent written, verbal, and customer service skills are required.
