The position is with IBIS, part of Accor, in a hotel and hospitality environment.

Role overview

IT Coordinator responsible for daily IT support, hotel systems, device maintenance, user access, vendor coordination, and IT records.

The role provides responsive support to hotel employees and guests while maintaining confidentiality and policy compliance.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and prioritise daily IT requests and provide first-level hardware, software, network, and hotel systems support.
  • Install and maintain computers, printers, telephones, network equipment, and other IT devices.
  • Support PMS, POS, PABX, Wi-Fi, access control, and other hotel operational technology.
  • Manage user accounts, access, installations, updates, patches, inventories, licences, warranties, and service records.
  • Monitor systems and assist with backups, cybersecurity, business continuity, and disaster recovery.
  • Coordinate vendors, support onboarding, provide basic training, and support IT projects and upgrades.
  • Maintain secure IT and server areas and protect systems, equipment, and confidential information.

Qualifications

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
  • At least 2 years of IT support experience, preferably in a hotel or hospitality environment.
  • Good knowledge of hardware, software, networking, troubleshooting, Windows, Microsoft Office, printers, Wi-Fi, and basic network infrastructure.
  • Knowledge of IT security, data protection, and cybersecurity best practices.
  • Good written and spoken English.

Skills and preferred knowledge

  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, organisational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of PMS, POS, PBX, and access control systems is an advantage.
  • CompTIA, Microsoft, or Cisco certifications are advantageous.
