Information technology
- Manage computers, servers, printers, POS systems, networking equipment, email systems, user accounts, and software.
- Provide first- and second-level technical support, monitor performance, and resolve IT issues.
- Maintain backups, disaster recovery, internet connectivity, network security, IT assets, and software licenses.
- Manage CCTV, biometric attendance, access control systems, and external IT vendors.
Cybersecurity
- Monitor systems for cyber threats and implement antivirus and firewall protection.
- Perform security updates and patching, manage access rights, and conduct cybersecurity awareness training.
- Support compliance with data privacy regulations and company cybersecurity standards.
Website and e-commerce
- Maintain website security, uptime, performance, speed, content, and user experience.
- Coordinate website enhancements with developers and optimize websites for SEO.
- Manage online sales platforms, product information, pricing, promotions, inventory, orders, transactions, and customer issues.
Digital marketing and systems
- Support SEO, SEM, email marketing, social media integrations, Google Analytics, and conversion monitoring.
- Maintain ERP software and business applications, support ERP users, and coordinate with software vendors.
- Recommend process improvements through automation and maintain accurate system data.
Reporting and authority
Prepare weekly and monthly reports on IT performance, website traffic, online sales, e-commerce KPIs, downtime, incidents, support requests, and digital marketing.
The role may troubleshoot issues, coordinate approved vendors, manage website and e-commerce content, escalate cybersecurity risks, and recommend technology investments.
Qualifications and experience
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, E-commerce, or a related field.
- Three to five years of experience in IT support and e-commerce management.
- Hospitality, retail, or food and beverage experience is advantageous.
- Knowledge of POS systems, ERP software, websites, and online marketplaces is required.
Technical skills
- Windows Server, Microsoft 365, Active Directory, LAN/WAN/Wi-Fi networking, cloud services, cybersecurity, and database management.
- WordPress or similar website management, basic HTML/CSS, Google Analytics, SEO, Shopify, WooCommerce, Magento, POS, and ERP systems.
Soft skills and certifications
- Problem-solving, communication, customer focus, time management, project management, analytical thinking, pressure tolerance, and continuous learning.
- Microsoft, Cisco CCNA, Google Analytics, Google Ads, Shopify/WooCommerce, and cybersecurity certifications are preferred.
Working conditions and compensation
- This is a full-time position with occasional work outside normal business hours for maintenance or emergency support.
- Travel between company locations may be required.
- Pay is AED 4,000.00 to AED 7,090.09 per month. Work location is in person.
