The role combines data analysis, reporting, system administration, application integration, and infrastructure reliability responsibilities.
Data Analysis Responsibilities
- Analyze complex data sets and provide actionable insights.
- Develop reports, dashboards, and data visualizations.
- Ensure data quality and accuracy in all analyses.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data requirements.
- Implement data governance practices and support governance audits and compliance activities.
- Communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
- Conduct advanced statistical analysis and modeling.
Systems and Infrastructure Responsibilities
- Develop system and application implementation plans, custom scripts, and testing procedures.
- Monitor the performance and availability of systems and networks.
- Plan, test, and implement information systems upgrades.
- Integrate and deploy new software applications across the business.
- Maintain organized and accessible technical documentation.
- Develop backup and disaster recovery procedures.
- Develop procedures to protect systems from unauthorized use, disasters, and user abuse.
- Develop tools and training for operations, client support, and systems development staff.
- Mentor team members and educate users on system administration best practices.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies and system administration practices.
Skills and Abilities
- Strong knowledge of system administration for complex operating systems.
- Proficiency in designing, implementing, and maintaining mission-critical systems.
- Expertise in monitoring system performance and availability.
- Ability to develop and implement backup and disaster recovery procedures.
- Strong problem-solving skills for complex technical challenges.
- Excellent documentation and organizational skills.
- Leadership and mentoring skills.
- Knowledge of emerging technologies and system administration best practices.
Experience and Education
- At least 2 years of experience in information technology, data analysis, or a relevant field.
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology or a related field.
Language and Certifications
- Excellent oral and written English is required, while Arabic is preferred.
- Preferred certifications include CAP, Power BI Data Analyst Associate, CDMP, Google Business Intelligence, Google Data Analytics, PMP, and ITIL.
