Key Responsibilities
- Design and deploy greenfield office networks and Wi-Fi from planning through go-live.
- Configure and manage SonicWall and Fortinet FortiGate firewalls, VPNs, NAT, ACLs, and security controls.
- Deploy Cisco/Meraki and FortiSwitch infrastructure and manage VLANs, routing, STP, LACP, DHCP, DNS, and NTP.
- Conduct Wi-Fi site surveys, RF planning, access point deployment, and controller configuration using Meraki, FortiAP, Ubiquiti, or Aruba.
- Install and administer Windows Server 2019, 2022, and 2025, Active Directory, GPO, DNS/DHCP, IIS, and AD CS.
- Deploy SAN/NAS, Dell/HPE servers, RAID, and Veeam backup and disaster recovery solutions.
- Manage Hyper-V, failover clustering, live migration, Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Exchange Online, Intune, and SharePoint.
- Handle presales activities, client site surveys, bill of materials preparation, solution presentations, and project documentation.
- Provide escalation-level troubleshooting, security hardening, firmware updates, and change management.
- Promote Microsoft Copilot and Claude for AI productivity.
Required Skills and Experience
- 5+ years of experience in IT infrastructure and network administration.
- Proven experience delivering end-to-end greenfield network and Wi-Fi projects.
- Hands-on experience with Windows Server, SAN, physical servers, and virtualization.
- Strong client-facing communication and technical documentation skills.
- A valid UAE driving licence is required for client site visits.
Preferred Certifications
- CCNA or CCNP certification is preferred.
- MS-900, AZ-900, MD-102, or AZ-800 certification is preferred.
Client Site Work
- The role includes client site surveys and site visits, requiring a valid UAE driving licence.
