Key Responsibilities
- Plan, supervise, and maintain irrigation systems for landscaping projects.
- Monitor irrigation networks, pumps, valves, controllers, filters, sprinklers, and drip irrigation systems.
- Inspect systems for leaks, blockages, pressure problems, damaged pipes, and faulty irrigation equipment.
- Prepare irrigation schedules based on plant requirements, weather conditions, and site requirements.
- Monitor water consumption and reduce unnecessary water wastage.
- Troubleshoot and repair irrigation faults and coordinate corrective maintenance.
- Supervise technicians and workers, allocate daily tasks, and monitor staff performance.
- Review drawings, layouts, and specifications and coordinate irrigation works with landscaping and site teams.
- Test and commission new or modified systems and maintain inspection, maintenance, and irrigation records.
- Coordinate with clients, attend urgent breakdowns, prepare material requirements and technical reports, and follow safe work procedures.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Agricultural Engineering or Irrigation Engineering.
- Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience in irrigation and landscaping maintenance.
- Strong knowledge of irrigation systems, pumps, valves, sprinklers, drip irrigation, and irrigation controllers.
- Ability to read irrigation drawings and technical layouts.
- Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to supervise technicians and site workers.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- UAE/GCC landscaping experience is preferred.
- UAE driving licence is an advantage.
Work Location
- Work is performed in person.
Pay
- Pay starts from AED 4,000 per month.
