Role Overview
The employer is seeking a dedicated and physically fit Garden Worker for its landscaping and maintenance team.
The role involves maintaining gardens, green spaces, and landscaped areas across client or company sites.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform planting, watering, trimming, pruning, fertilizing, and weeding.
- Maintain lawns, hedges, flower beds, and garden features.
- Operate mowers, trimmers, blowers, and other gardening equipment safely and efficiently.
- Report dead or diseased plants and take corrective action as instructed.
- Remove debris, fallen leaves, and trash from outdoor spaces.
- Assist with landscape installation and seasonal planting.
- Follow supervisor schedules and instructions.
- Use and store gardening tools and chemicals properly.
- Follow safety procedures and report hazards or incidents promptly.
Requirements
- Four years of gardening experience is required.
- Previous gardening, landscaping, or groundskeeping experience is preferred.
- Basic knowledge of plant care and garden maintenance techniques is required.
- Candidates must be able to operate and maintain gardening tools and machinery.
- Candidates must be physically fit and able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- The role requires independent and team-based work, attention to detail, responsibility, and willingness to follow instructions.
