Role Overview
The IP Engineer operates, monitors, maintains and supports critical IP network infrastructure within an Operational Command Centre.
The role supports network availability, performance, resilience and operational integrity in a 24x7 environment.
The engineer works with Engineering, Customer Operations, Service Delivery, Carriers, Vendors and Field Services teams.
Eligibility and Experience
- Australian citizenship is mandatory for eligibility for NV1 clearance.
- At least 3 years of experience in network operations, service assurance, IP engineering or network support environments.
- Experience in carrier, wholesale, managed services or critical infrastructure environments.
- Experience supporting MPLS, Carrier Ethernet or SD-WAN services.
- Experience supporting Government, Defence or Emergency Services networks.
- Experience troubleshooting enterprise or carrier-grade IP network incidents in production environments.
- Degree, diploma or equivalent industry experience in information technology, telecommunications, engineering or a related discipline.

- Monitor and support IP network infrastructure and associated services.
