Validate network designs to ensure compliance with Fibre Engineering Standards and industry best practices.
Support network upgrades, expansions and integration of new technologies across the fibre network.
Provide technical SME guidance on fibre architecture, capacity planning and design standards.
Collaborate with GIS teams to: Validate geospatial data Digitise optical fibre routes Generate maps and reports Provide spatial insights supporting design decisions

Maintain accurate fibre records, splice schedules and capacity planning data.
Work closely with engineers, project managers, delivery partners and contractors to deliver quality outcomes.
Participate in an on-call roster to support fault resolution and provide assistance to the National Operations Centre (NOC).
Support service delivery activities and assist during fault situations within core business hours.
Undertake additional duties as required to support business objectives.

You are an experienced fibre design professional with strong technical expertise across core network infrastructure, fibre planning and GIS systems. You thrive in fast-paced environments, take ownership of your deliverables and are passionate about delivering accurate, high-quality network designs.
NV1 Security Clearance (or eligibility to obtain).
Experience working within carrier, service provider or large-scale telecommunications environments.
Knowledge of national telecommunications standards and fibre engineering practices.
