We are seeking an experienced Inventory Manager to lead and optimize inventory operations while supporting the implementation of SAP ERP systems.
This role is critical in ensuring efficient stock management, process improvement, and seamless integration between warehouse operations and project requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess current inventory systems and practices
- Develop and implement SOPs, workflows, and reporting templates
- Build and structure the inventory team for ERP transition
- Conduct gap analysis and readiness assessments
- Lead SAP (MM/WM) implementation in collaboration with IT and consultants
- Manage data cleansing and migration (materials, suppliers, stock locations)
- Act as the main point of contact for SAP-related inventory processes
- Support testing, training, and system go-live
- Oversee stock control, warehousing, and order fulfillment
- Ensure stock accuracy through cycle counts and reconciliation
- Align material supply with project schedules
- Train and manage inventory and warehouse staff
- Foster collaboration across procurement, finance, and project teams
- Deliver SAP and operational training
- Maintain inventory records and KPI dashboards
- Monitor stock turnover, usage, and replenishment
- Ensure compliance with safety and audit standards
- Coordinate with project managers and site teams
- Report progress on inventory and SAP implementation to management
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Engineering, or related field
- SAP certification preferred
- Lean or Six Sigma knowledge is an advantage
- 7–10 years in inventory/warehouse management
- Experience in SAP ERP implementation
- Background in manufacturing, marine, construction, or fit-out industries
- Strong experience in SOP development and process optimization
