Position Overview

  • We are seeking an experienced Internal Project Manager to oversee and manage our portfolio of internal software product launches and technology initiatives.
  • The role requires strong governance skills, cross functional coordination, and the ability to drive projects from initiation through successful delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and track progress across multiple concurrent projects including AI products, platform enhancements, and other internal portals
  • Maintain and update project tracking dashboards, ensuring real time visibility into BA, Development, QA, and Delivery status
  • Monitor completion percentages and proactively address projects falling behind schedule
  • Collaborate with Business Committees and Technical Committees to ensure alignment
  • Facilitate governance meetings and ensure decision making accountability
  • Coordinate with distributed teams
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate risks that could impact product rollouts
  • Escalate blockers and 'On Hold' items, developing action plans to resolve them
  • Monitor project dependencies and resource constraints across BA, Dev, QA, and Delivery phases
  • Ensure all project phases (Initiation, Discovery & Requirements, Architecture & Design, Development, QA, Deployment) are properly executed
  • Track deliverables including project charters, requirements baselines, architecture designs, and go live readiness
  • Define and monitor launch KPIs and success metrics

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of project management experience in software development/technology environments
  • Proven experience managing multiple concurrent projects (10+ simultaneously)
  • Strong understanding of SDLC, Agile/Scrum methodologies
  • Experience with project tracking tools (Excel, Loop, JIRA, Azure DevOps)
  • PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent certification preferred

Required Skills

  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Strong analytical and problem solving abilities
  • Experience with risk assessment and mitigation strategies
  • Ability to work with cross functional teams (BA, Development, QA, Delivery)
  • Familiarity with AI/ML product development lifecycle is a plus

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  • Maintain portfolio completion rate above target thresholds
  • Reduce 'Blocked' and 'On Hold' status items within 2 weeks
  • Ensure 100% of projects have updated governance documentation
  • Zero unmitigated critical risks at product launch
  • On time delivery rate of 90%+ for planned go lives

Reporting Structure

  • Reports to: Chief Technology Officer (CTO)
  • Collaborates with: Business Committee, Technical Committee, BA Team, Dev Team, QA Team, Delivery Team
