About the Role

- Collaborate within a team to ensure delivery of essential academic support services and resolve complex support requests
- Provide advanced technical expertise for resolving complex system issues, including root cause identification and long term solutions
- Proactively evaluate clients' business and operational requirements, identify improvement opportunities, and write detailed business cases
- Lead process re design initiatives to optimize and standardize configurations across information systems
- Anticipate potential risks and issues in business plans and collaborate with IT professionals to find solutions
- Develop comprehensive documentation including functional requirements, design, and configuration specifications
- Develop detailed test plans and oversee testing of end user scenarios for complex processes
- Conduct in depth data integrity analysis and develop advanced data management strategies
- Develop implementation plans for deployment of new processes and solutions
- Perform in depth reviews of system capabilities and workflows to enhance client and student experience
Requirements
- University degree in Commerce, Administration, Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent combination
- Minimum 5 years of experience supporting academic processes and associated IT infrastructure
- Minimum 3 years of experience in project management
- Bilingualism – French and English (spoken and written)
- Advanced knowledge of business rules, processes, and management systems used by the University
- Advanced knowledge of project management methods and practices
- Strong analytical skills to convert business requirements into functional specifications
- Advanced experience with Microsoft Excel or other data management tools
- Advanced knowledge in system configuration and process automation

Position Purpose
- Works closely with clients and management to provide expert business guidance and support in implementation of application solutions, including Student Information System (SIS).
- Acts as point of escalation for complex issues, providing in depth analysis and resolution for critical system challenges.
Responsibilities
- Operational Services: Collaborates within a team to ensure delivery of essential academic support services and resolves complex support requests.
- Technical Support and Consulting: Provides advanced technical expertise for resolving complex system issues, including root cause identification and long term solutions.
- Business Analysis: Evaluates clients' business and operational requirements, identifies improvement opportunities, and writes detailed business cases.
- Process Analysis and Design: Leads process re design initiatives to optimize and standardize configurations across information systems.
- Impact Assessment: Anticipates risks and issues, collaborates with IT professionals, and ensures solutions are integrated and tested.

What You Will Bring
- University degree in Commerce, Administration, Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent combination.
- Minimum 5 years of experience supporting academic processes and associated IT infrastructure.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in project management.
