- Prepare specific business test cases, review and update test cases and scripts to assess if the solution meets requirements
- Ensure quality throughout the software development process; develop complete test strategies for new software products
- Organize activities to verify system requirements, system design and system code; ensure test plan validates application requirements
- Find, reproduce, isolate, log, and report defects; work closely with development teams during test design and execution
- Produce documentation of the testing process, validation of software, strategies, and best practices
Requirements
- University degree in computer science or a related discipline or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a quality assurance role involving software testing
- Experience with developing, maintaining, and executing automated test scripts using Playwright (preferred), Selenium, or similar automation frameworks
- Experience with integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and development workflows
- Experience or familiarity with API testing using Postman, Bruno or similar tools
- Bilingualism – French and English (spoken and written)

Position Purpose
- Reporting to the Lead Technical Designer, the incumbent ensures quality throughout the software development process while working on projects to deliver new computer applications and modifications.
- Reviews project deliverables, design documents, and programming specification to verify quality standards.
- Contributes to the formulation and continuous improvement of software quality standards, methods, and tools.
Responsibilities
- Testing: Prepares specific business test cases, reviews, updates, develops and executes test cases and test scripts.
- Development: Ensures quality throughout the software development process; develops complete test strategies for new software products.
- Verification: Organizes activities designed to verify system requirements, system design and system code.
- Logging: Finds, reproduces, isolates, logs, and reports defects; works closely with development teams.
- Documentation: Produces all documentation of the testing process, validation of software, strategies, and best practices.
What you will bring
- University degree in computer science or a related discipline or equivalent combination.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a quality assurance role involving software testing.
- Experience with developing, maintaining, and executing automated test scripts using Playwright (preferred), Selenium, or similar.
- Experience with integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and development workflows.
- Experience or familiarity with API testing using Postman, Bruno or similar tools.
- Experience with modern quality engineering practices, including test automation, continuous testing, and AI assisted QA tools.
- Experience with performance/load testing tools such as JMeter or Artillery.
- Experience using Jira for defect tracking and test coordination and Xray for test case management.
- Ability to support functional, regression, integration, API, and performance testing.
- Experience with system development life cycle.
- Experience writing manual test plans, test cases and reporting test results independently.
- High level of initiative, decisiveness and business acumen.
