Job Summary
Abu Alnaga Contracting is seeking an Interior Fit-Out Engineer (Quality Control Engineer) for its construction team.
The role supervises interior fit-out works and ensures compliance with approved drawings, specifications, project requirements, and quality standards.
The position requires knowledge of interior finishing, site coordination, inspection procedures, and quality control processes.
Job Location
- The job is located in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
- The work involves regular construction-site supervision and inspections.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise interior fit-out and finishing works at the construction site.
- Inspect materials, workmanship, and completed works for compliance with approved standards.
- Review shop drawings, material submittals, samples, and technical documents.
- Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, site engineers, and project teams.
- Prepare inspection requests and coordinate consultant or client inspections.
- Identify quality issues and ensure corrective actions are completed.
- Maintain inspection reports, checklists, quality records, and project documentation.
- Coordinate interior works with MEP and other disciplines to avoid clashes.
- Follow up on snagging, NCRs, site observations, and punch-list closure.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Civil Engineering, Architectural Engineering, Interior Design, or a related field.
- 5–7 years of relevant experience in building construction, interior fit-out, or quality control.
- Strong knowledge of interior finishing and fit-out construction works.
- Understanding of construction drawings, specifications, method statements, and inspection procedures.
- Experience in quality inspection and documentation.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office.
- Project management or document-control systems knowledge is advantageous.
- ISO 9001, QA/QC, or equivalent certification is advantageous.
