ABU ALNAGA CONTRACTING is seeking an Accountant who speaks Tagalog or Arabic.
The role focuses on daily accounting, payroll processing, reconciliations, petty cash, financial records, and reporting.
Key responsibilities
- Manage daily accounting and bookkeeping activities.
- Process monthly payroll, including salaries, allowances, deductions, leave, and employee payments.
- Calculate overtime and review attendance and payroll records.
- Perform bank reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.
- Maintain petty cash records and supporting receipts.
- Handle payables and receivables and prepare accounting documents.
- Maintain financial records and assist with monthly closing and reports.
- Coordinate with HR and assist auditors and management with financial information.
- Follow accounting procedures and internal controls.
Requirements
- Degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Proven experience as an Accountant or in a similar position.
- Hands-on payroll and overtime calculation experience.
- Knowledge of bank reconciliation, petty cash management, accounting principles, and bookkeeping.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software or ERP systems.
- Attention to detail, accuracy, analytical ability, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Tagalog or Arabic language capability is specified by the position.
