Role Overview
Lead interior finishing activities for a high-end interior fit-out.
Run tradesmen on site, document progress, capture variations, and prepare finished zones for consultant inspection.
Responsibilities
- Organise and distribute labour and specialised trades across zones according to site priorities.
- Coordinate gypsum, painting, flooring, and joinery trades.
- Maintain daily photographic tracking of ongoing finishing works.
- Identify, isolate, and photograph extra works or variations outside the original scope.
- Compile variation reports supported by photographic evidence and measurements.
- Verify finished zones meet required standards before consultant inspection.
- Control subcontractors and enforce productivity, sequencing, and finishing-quality discipline.
Requirements
- At least 8 years of experience is required.
- Hands-on experience supervising interior finishing works across multiple trades is required.
- Ability to read and interpret interior design and fit-out shop drawings is required.
- Strong subcontractor and labour control on active finishing sites is required.
- Disciplined photographic documentation and variation reporting habits are required.
- Clear escalation habits for scope, quality, or subcontractor performance issues are required.
